@NewsGroup The general thesis is that Sora (the app) was created to see if OpenAI could make ad money off some sort of social feed
What it really did was go "hey, you know how we've been spending the better part of a decade trying to handle deepfakes? What if that was the *whole* app?"

If you were on Sora you knew you were watching AI generated videos, but once those breached containment and found their way onto other sites, that's where the idea became more problematic
