    This deep new image of the center of our galaxy notably does NOT show the supermassive black hole at the center of the frame, as massive as 4 million Suns. You have to look more closely to see it & what it's doing.

      Infrared studies of the center of our galaxy reveal stars & newfound gas blobs racing around the hidden central object. That makes it possible to measure the mass & location of the supermassive black hole behind it all.
