Divine, a short video Vine-like experience, had their app go live this week. It includes vintage vines previously archived from the original platform. Instant nostalgia is a great hook.
But the thing I find most interesting - this is a Nostr app. But it’s not being presented to users as such, at all.
Lots of new Nostr users who don’t even know they ARE Nostr users. I’m curious how this will work out!
So far I’ve never seen a Fedi app do similar.

@box464 oooh, that's intriguing. NOstr without knowing it's nostr I mean, though also "vintage vines".
Some of the #fediForum stuff that just wrapped was brushing up against the idea that the TECH needs to be a little less visible to the human, so they can roll on in without a barrier.

Noticed it's in the app store but only lets us request an invite if we don't already have an account. I'm an activity pub and AT proto native, would be content if my only nostr hook was a Vine resurrection.
