@itsfoss that is the only reliable way. Everything else is madness
-
@itsfoss I end up entering Boot menu instead of BIOS
-
@itsfoss Cool Action Retro video
-
@itsfoss a version of that, at least, and recently! Why is it not always the same?!
-
@itsfoss why not? it is very useful sometimes
-
@itsfoss
Pure madness who work I guess, depending of the key registered at the right moment. I'm more hammering a key guy, my F12 ke can testify of this

-
@itsfoss I haven't, but I *will* from now on!
-
Yes. I always do something like that.
-
@itsfoss yes but only if f12 doesn't work on first try
-
@itsfoss uhh...
yeah...
I immediately knew it was BIOS.
-
@itsfoss I only started doing the boot time function key slide after seeing a video of someone doing the boot time function key slide. It's a bit of a crap shoot as to what boot time agent responds.
-
@itsfoss I just used the Pause/Break key.

-
@itsfoss Nope. Been running Linux since I was a small child in a sailor suit. (Not really. Early 2000s. But it feels long ago.)
Is this a way to skip the asinine Windows hardware checking or something? (I know it's BIOS, but my BIOS screen looks a bit different, so I'm guessing it's some Windows modification?)
-
@itsfoss hahaha⦠this is neat

@Elias lol
