How is it possible that people who want to overcome capitalism argue that "AI is inevitable"?! That level of cognitive dissonance...wow.
Capitalism is a deeply entrenched system that has shaped all domains of society for centuries. "AI" is a set of technologies that have come into widespread adoption over the last few years.
If we believe in a future beyond capitalism (and I do), then we can certainly believe in a future without "AI".

If we believe in a future beyond capitalism (and I do), then we can certainly believe in a future without "AI".
@alineblankertz I find that question especially confusing within leftwing activists circle. One comrade recently asked me whether I really believed that we could get rid of "AI". I answered "I am a communist, I don't understand the question."

@alineblankertz depending on your definition of AI. I see it as a tool only, and I don't think tools are incompatible with socialism.
