Yes and but also some of these people have been with ICE for a long time. Jonathan Ross, who killed Renee Good, joined ICE in 2015. Alex Pretti's killers are also like a decade in.We tried the whole "it's the training" thing before. We not doing that anymore. Nope. It's not the training. It's the whole thing.

@camille @LibertyOverGov when this guy talks about secretive orders that effectively means that the entire organisation is now operating under hidden agendas and a recalibration of acceptable behaviour, this is just a small part indicating a larger problem of an organisation that was already problematic, I wonder how many people in ice have been waiting for the green light to act like a fascist militarised kill squad?

@camille @LibertyOverGov when this guy talks about secretive orders that effectively means that the entire organisation is now operating under hidden agendas and a recalibration of acceptable behaviour, this is just a small part indicating a larger problem of an organisation that was already problematic, I wonder how many people in ice have been waiting for the green light to act like a fascist militarised kill squad?
What do we think the Patriot Act was? It was always this. It was always an authoritarian play and always a huge gift to the "security" industry.

@camille @LibertyOverGov that act was an absolute abomination something they have been looking to do for ages and was just waiting for an excuse to implement it with the unquestioning support of the public. The slow creeping into fascism happens over decades then suddenly snowballs into a full authoritarian takeover, but this presidency has been decades in the making and it will take decades to undo...

What i don't understand is that the training facility location (Brunswick, GA vacintiy) has been made public a few times but have not heard of significant protests in the area.

@Bluezcrab496 Looks to me like it's in a pretty large, secure area, almost like a whole army base. Also, that county is pretty conservative, by about 2:1.

1000% but there is no undoing. Something else has to happen. There is no "back to normal" only "forward to (hopefully) better".
