After nearly six months of work, I'm thrilled to introduce Shortcuts Playground:
A plugin for Claude Code and Codex to create native Apple shortcuts with natural language.
Type a sentence in, get a shortcut back. It can one-shot complex shortcuts, make changes, and remix old shortcuts. Full Shortcuts action library supported.

I learned so much about working with agents, designing a harness, and how Shortcuts works in building all this.
I fully expect to be Sherlocked in 3 weeks and I can't wait. If I could make this, imagine what Apple can offer.

@viticci @stroughtonsmith I always wanted this! Editing Shortcuts is such a pain and the Shortcutsapp is sooo buggy (I wish I could just edit them as text). I’ll be happy if I never have to touch the Shortcuts app again.
