          Doesn't that just generate a message saying what the changes are, instead of why the changes were done?
          You can get the what from the diff, but the why is something else.

                @grumpygamer I guess I'm the odd one out, but I kinda like writing commit messages. It's that mini rant in prose I get to do where I can explain and complain about all the shit I've tried and why I chose this particular solution. 😅
                I like that as a reflection of my work and I often notice something that I missed or haven't fully thought through while writing.
                But overthinking things is also my natural state of being, so...
