    I wish we had an energy secretary who specialized in anything other than word salad. Data centers require short term construction jobs. Fine. But they aren't engines of long term job creation. https://iowacapitaldispatch.com/2026/04/24/us-energy-secretary-visiting-iowa-says-data-centers-will-drive-energy-production/

      Because if Trump was committed to job creation, he should have just continued Biden's policies. Or Obama's in his first term. https://www.jec.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/democrats/2024/10/the-u-s-economy-performs-better-under-democratic-presidents

        @SeanCasten

        The ten* people who end up working in them will be thankful for their jobs.

        Meanwhile all the electricity and water gets sucked out of the local environment.

        *I'm joking of course.

        It might be twenty.
