@royaards Agreed. My reason for posting about gas prices is simple -- people dying 7,000 miles away is abstract. But you see the price at the pump roughly every week.
Yes that's fscking horrible but it is true.

@ChristianRiegel @jor I'm a cartoonist, not a graph maker, so composition (placement of the text) comes first. Second, before you accuse me of using AI to make my cartoons (I do not), could you just do a minimum of investigation into my work?

Not to worry! Someday soon we'll be able to kill all the people we want in developing countries and the cost of transpo won't budge.
And! We'll be able to do it with minimal "friendly" casualties but...yes, there is always a "but"...the robot losses may be severe.
We'll learn to usefully lament *their* grisly deaths too tho! Just to keep the righteous anger levels up to a properly useful patriotic level.
