@debe if you can dance to it, it probably qualifies as dance music.
I'm inclined to cheat as I learned ballet as a child, ballroom and folk dancing as a teenager, and modern dance as a university student. There are few pieces of music I couldn't dance to in my younger days. Not so much now.
