@itsfoss alright this is the second post in 24h I saw. Guys it's literally not age VERIFICATION, it is a field where you type in your birth and nobody's gonna verify it. How else is systemd supposed to comply with the law in those states. Yes the laws are shit but critize the politicians not systemd for trying it's best so linux is still available in those regions AND somewhat protecting the user's privacy (just tell them you were born 1/1/1900, that's what we did 10/20 years ago anyway)

@itsfoss We all know this is **wink wink nod nod** about surveillance and ultimately it will be about control! This is textbook step one of any global take-over!! Step 2 is take control of the financial system via a new digital system. Create the crisis then provide the solution but require more freedoms, greater controls and authroity, more surveillance. Ability to de-bank anybody who doesn't fall in line with the next set of government mandates! Hint the next big mandate is Sunday worship!!

@Parmon @itsfoss there isn't actual age verification yet, but they merged a field to store birth date which can be queried by other components of the system
