    Socks #knitting finished!

    I don’t like how these turned out. I like the yarn, but the heel that I used took up way too much length eating into the colour work for the foot, meaning the toes have too much cream in them.

    If you look at the side view you’ll see what I mean.

    My wife really likes them. If only her feet were as big as mine 😅

      @Sobtanian oh I like them! They look like you meant them to be that way.

        @Bronwyn I just added a side view since you replied. The heel should’ve finished within the cream band 😒

          @Sobtanian I'm sorry they disappointed you & know that you won't change your mind just because the rest of us are coo-ing about them, but the very thing that bothers you is why I really like them. It's a really nice visual effect. What type of heel is that?

            @Sobtanian I’ve heard some people will pay good money for toes with a lot of cream

                @LoraHughes a rubbish one haha.

                The designer calls it an integrated heel, I wanted to try it as it was mostly done in the round.

                https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/basic-sock-with-integrated-heel

                I think it would’ve been fine if I had used it with regular yarn, rather than Pairfect.

                  @Sobtanian I can see how it would bother you if you were expecting different but to me it looks like it was supposed to be that way.

                  (but I get it; I am my own worst knitting critic)
