    I'm going to whisper this. So I'll choose my words carefully. I'll use general terms but am referring to specific multiple things. Please read between the lines.

    Those of you that are doing things are having a good effect.

    - The media is not covering you (this is a good sign. it means they dont want to bring attention to your actions).
    - They are discussing you in board rooms and in decision making meetings.
    - They are saying things like "we have to pause that project at that location because its currently drawing too much attention" and "we have to reframe this announcement to downplay that thing" and "we need to try these concessions to lower the heat a bit".

    They are hoping you "get tired and bored and move to a new thing" so they can get back to work without interference.

    Keep doing what you're doing. Join folks that are doing things if you aren't doing anything yet. Do what you can, as you can, when you can.

    It is working.

      Yeah !
      100% agree ! If mainstream criticizes you, it's because you're kinda stone in the shoe.
      And you know how much a stone in the shoe can bother you, whatecer the size of it.

        They are literally bombing each other to stabilize supply.

        They are destroying demand in perpetuity to survive another day.

        They are dying of their own self-inflicted malaise.

        We are winning and everyone can see it plainly.

            @tinker I'd just add, keep doing what you're doing without burning out. These people in board rooms have limitless resources. So take a break, recharge, get back in there. Don't try to take them out in one hit, be the sand in their gears instead.

              @tinker

              We literally had our now-ex city manager tell us that he was "heartbroken" that my group has been putting pressure on the city, asking for transparency, communication, clear information, and a few other basic things that one would expect a governing body to do (that no governing body is doing at all right now).

              So yeah, it's working. (He resigned way earlier than we expected, though he really wasn't the root of the problem.)

                  And if they fulfil or answer only parts:

                  thank them,

                  praise them for their prompt resonse (regadless of any delay),

                  evaluate the answers, (esp. search for possible contacts),

                  and follow up with a more specific question.

                  If you acquire contacts on technological or clerk level: be polite and thankful. Offer to query information they need, to shield them from political pressure = create allies.

                      @tinker

                      Exactly.

                      Also, one does things because they are the right things to do, its not dependent on outcomes. Which you usually can't know anyway. Even when "nothing happens" -- that you can see.
