Good #Wednesday, #Asheville
A bit of a neighborhood hike this morning, starting out just as light began to show, and finishing before the sun reached out home, about 2 hours.
The top of this mountain affords almost no view, but is a healthy-looking deciduous forest, and I'm so glad we have a space like this close by.
Hoping your day is great (and be ready for that 74F high!)

@czarbucks Enjoy!
Meanwhile in Maryland, we’re getting a rainy cool day. It might crack 50 degrees. My woods are just old and wet, not camera ready yet.

@czarbucks I love starting a hike just before daylight. Often you get terrific low-angled light for photos.

I do, too. Plus I'm so affected by heat these days that in summer it's my only option. At least now it doesn't mean getting up at 5AM!
So lucky to have a few interesting places to just "hike out" living here.
