@Tutanota What weโre actually after isn't just privacy, but the right to choose. It means I should be able to choose whether or not to show you my information, rather than having a bunch of people flaunting my private data in front of me and causing massive issues for my personal safety. A long time ago, when many IRC clients didn't have privacy mode enabled by default, hardly anyone made a fuss about it.

The reason u are here coz u also want privacy from big tech companies @GOKUSHRM @Tutanota Yo I literally said that. By default no government should be surveilling on you but you should be able to choose to use apps that don't. If an app like Instagram or Twitter collects your data, you can choose to go somewhere else. Don't know why this is so hard to understand. And having this choice is not really a human right to privacy. It's just personal agency.
