#NATO@ErikJonker NATO should transform to a Europe-led alliance as soon as possible. Keep the shared standards, frameworks, assets and command and control; build/gain access so satellite intelligence independent of US resources. Make sure the European part of the alliance sticks to its defensive task of protecting the North Atlantic from aggressive and violent actors.
Trump and his government has been a NATO member only on paper - as your post about support for Ukraine clearly shows.

#NATOKeep calm and carry on. Let this maniac and his buddies just go. Nobody can rely on him, he is not a gain. The fact that he can't remember what he said an hour ago is a risk for any alliance. This chaotic Iran war is evidence enough. Obviously he is seriously demented.
I wouldn't go so far and close any army base in Europe, but I would let em pay for this. And not to little.

#NATO@ErikJonker i dont think NATO is dead, it will just have to become an anti US alliance just as much as its an anti Russia one (which really hurts to say)
