It's tax time in #Canada. So I need to go to "My Account" on the federal gov't site to get my pension tax slip. I try to log on via my BC Services Account card/app. I get "Error Message". So I call the federal help line.
HL "Hello, how can we help"
Me "Having a problem blah blah blah"
HL "That's a BC problem, not us; call them."
I call BCHL and wait 20 minutes.
BCHL "Hello, how can we help?"
Me "Can't use BC Services to log in to the federal site"
BCHL "That is a technical problem. The service is down. We are not the technical department"
Me "How long will it be down?"
BCHL "We don't know"
Me "Are you familiar with the writer Franz Kafka?"
BCHL "????" -

Always log on with email and password. ... Oh and of course two factor ID. -
