A petition calling for a public inquiry into pro-Israel influence on politics and democracy in the UK has gathered more than 100,000 signatures and will now be considered for debate in the House of Commons.
The UK Parliament petition, started by Andy Kalil, got off to a slow start but has picked up huge pace since attracting support from well-known campaigners such as political movement Occupy London and activist Peter Tatchell.
