Despite having a later supper than normal, my cats were both quite unwilling to let me sleep in and insisted on having breakfast on time.

Despite having a later supper than normal, my cats were both quite unwilling to let me sleep in and insisted on having breakfast on time. If only my partner weren’t such a sound sleeper, I’d at least have a chance that they wake her up first.
Ah well… I can make myself fancy coffee to make up for it.
