Ever notice how progressive most video game protagonists and parties are?

We should have more conservative games.

    - Console ICE officers whos' feelings have been hurt by peaceful protestors!
    - Shoot poor people at the border trying to get better lives!
    - Kill vaccine researchers and volunteers to keep healthcare costs high!

    Releasing this winter season.

Really though, it kind of struck me how aggressively "progressive" the goals of the squad of Wild Arms 2 is, perhaps just a quirk of the localization, perhaps a counterreaction to Japan's stifling conservative culture, but at the end of the day if you think about it, the protags are just being good people and good people end up...yeah.

@TheZeldaZone What surprises me is how their comics are the exact opposite, weirdly reactionary and openly right-wing.

If you'll forgive me for being a little political, the vaccines thing is a solid show of how the right has no genuine ideology beyond what they're told.

Shit just completely popped up out of nowhere 10 years ago because most right wingers are fucking idiots and they voted for an idiot king, now they're practically nurgle-cultists.

Like if you brought back Hitler at this point I'm sure he'd be like "what the fuck???", but his second thought would be "they're still white though right??"
