@kde Why are y'all upset Framework started giving money to KDE when Google has been giving money to KDE for years by now?

@kde @frameworkcomputer did they stop being fascists yet tho?
Glad to hear it if they did, I've just not seen/heard anything to that effect.

@catraxx @kde @frameworkcomputer
Who did what? I feel like I'm of the loop on this...
@Scarlov @catraxx @kde @frameworkcomputer Framework heavily promoted the work of a well-known Neonazi (DHH) and didn't back down when it was brought to their attention. I can search out a few links for you tomorrow or so. I believe they also promoted another fascist apart from DHH but can't remember

@kde @frameworkcomputer I don't like the guy myself for many reasons and Framework response is whatever, but it's not enough to burn bridges. The world is complex, can't please everyone

@engideer @Scarlov @catraxx @kde @frameworkcomputer And many of us in this thread are using a platform powered by Ruby on Rails, have GitHub accounts are using CloudFlare as our DNS provider.
Everything is tainted. Can't support KDE because of their sponsorship from Framework, who we can't support for their sponsorship of Omarchy. Apple/Microsoft/Google/HP sponsors fascists so no Android, no iOS. We're all in the nazi bar.
[ Insert The Good Place "Why the point system is broken" scene ]

@BenjaminNelan @Scarlov @catraxx @kde @frameworkcomputer Yes, because big tech is evil, that means we should give full-throated support to Neonazis and fascist ideology, because nuance is dead apparently.
Get out of my mentions with your tone deaf culture war shit

Nuance is definitely dead when you equivocate what I wrote as, "we need to give full-throated support to Neonazis and fascist ideology" and then block me.

@gjerma @kde @frameworkcomputer I don't quite understand... If taint spread that fast we were all born tainted. Lets just say framework screwed up last year and are doing better this year. Although they could do something about offended communities, supporting KDE seems much better aligned with what "big tent" means to me than supporting haters.

@kde @frameworkcomputer Oh look, the Linus Sebastian Notebook company with a large brown stain on their shirt tries to cleanwash themseves by sponsoring a not so nazi infested open source project. What could possibly go wrong?

So, what’s it actually like to get a blowjob from Nazis ( @frameworkcomputer )?

So, what’s it actually like to get a blowjob from Nazis ( @frameworkcomputer )?
@revengeday it's a nice way to put a framework in place for me to stop supporting @kde . It worked instantly. @frameworkcomputer

@zbrown They made a mistake with that sponsorship and the communication of it. I think they never were, and it was a hugely overblown generalization online that told us that.

@revengeday @kde @frameworkcomputer did framework do besides sponsoring hyprland?

@astareth @revengeday @kde @frameworkcomputer I‘m definitely not. I still like KDE, I still like Framework (even though I don’t own any of their products) and even Omarchy can do what it wants to. These are good products, i respect their development and I really don’t care about their politics. Or what people want to talk others into.
