The CDC has paused testing for rabies and pox viruses.

It's vital we keep a close eye on them as rabies is virtually 100% fatal without vaccination, and smallpox killed hundreds of millions (we really don't want a similar virus returning).

Losing track of these viruses is a recipe for catastrophe.

@luckytran I can't believe I live here. This shit is opposite of what the country was supposed to be...Hidden in plain sight with plenty of distractions.

@luckytran I suggest the entire MAGA administration goes to a "Measles Party" to immunize themselves and to strengthen their immune system. Right after that, they need to drink some more raw milk and eat raw meats, especially chicken, to become as healthy as possible 😀🧫🦠 #trustmebro

They just want the money. They don't give a flying fuck about whether we live or die.

The reason for the pause in testing is widespread layoffs, hiring freezes and resignations.

By July, the rabies team will be down to just one person with the clinical expertise to advise state and local officials, and the pox virus team will have none.

@luckytran the bad guys are really in charge.
It's not just "no longer self correcting."
It's a positive feedback loop of evil.
