@pjs @Tutanota @delta they lied on the fact it was "impossible" to use anything else as server than amazon, google, microsoft etc because they need a ultra low lattency of the wold app would not work.

in the meantime dozen of other chat project do what they deemed impossible, and they closed off the discussion.

If they lie about something as armless as the position of the server i won't trust them for ANYTHING more related to security than this.

There's no such thing as private social media, and we need to stop make-believing otherwise. There is either public social media, or there is *captured* social media. No matter what, the people who own the servers end up with free reign over whatever you allow to be hosted on it.

Something even easier to do for most users is to stop using Google search. I am using Kagi now but DuckDcukGo and several others are good too.

@Kichae Ure right but what i mean by private is that it doesnt track or profile you like instagram etc. Very little info collected on u(Monnett) vs Massive amount (Instagram) Im not talking bout anonymous-its *SOCIAL* media, ofc what you share will be social and nonprivate.
