@rapsneezy2 Or like... they "must comply with US sanctions law", like they state above. It would seem to me they're very clearly open to everyone they legally are permitted to be.

that's the point
they haven't "done everything they can"
firs they mock the issue
then they say its too much effort to move
then they accuse you of being a bot or maga
then they block you
would this be acceptable if the issue was biasing against women or lgbtq+ people?
oh wait - the open source community has long had issues with diversity and equality
this immature "teenage sweaty tech boy" is exactly the culture they need to grow out of

imagine saying
"naaah its too much effort to do anything about trans hate in open source"
the first step to change is to speak out against it, even if you can't currently do anything physical about it
"but what can we do"- is how genocides happen

@rapsneezy2 KDE Plasma!

we disagree but at least you wrote a civil and coherent reply
credit where credit is due
one final point - we should speak out, and not simply silently ignore issues - nothing changes that way
there's an ancient wisdom in one of the world's major religions which says that if you see something bad, act against it, and if you can't act, speak against it, and if you can't, then at least feel it in your heart
some of tech/oss people can't even do that minimum

@rapsneezy2 @ocdtrekkie ... to Canada. Which is not much better on that front.
Many of us at GNOME are very loudly outspoken about being against Israels genocide and against zionism. I wish the foundation would move out of the US, but accusing GNOME as a whole of being Zionist by being in the USA is just incredibly reckless and inconsiderate. Take this attitude and point the fingers at the people in charge at the US that implement these bullshit sanctions.
