      @eff I wrote to the PMO and my MP. I suggest that every Canadian who cares about online safety and privacy do the same...

      Carney needs to hear from Canadians. Your MP needs to hear from you. Especially when it comes to not sharing Canadian data with the fascist techbroligarch hellscape downstairs.

        You are likely seeing the foundation for what is coming in next year's major update. Android 17 is slated to introduce even more aggressive background monitoring through Live Threat Detection.
        AI Monitoring: Instead of just scanning APKs at installation, the new system uses on-device AI to watch app behavior in real-time.
        Non stop snitches regardless of users wishes.
