Look, this is a contradiction in itself. The compiling *is* the Gentoo experience (well, merly a consequence, but I digress).
Anyhow, building immutable is fine, but a Gentoo base is as good as anything, since it is static.

@itsfoss i know linux should be more accessible, but i feel that 1 gentoo should stay gentoo (though arch has also been un-arched due to arch-install) and 2 immutable distros dont stimulate new users to experiment, and after all, today's new users are tomorrow's linux kernel maintainer
