I started using it in 2013 becuz Vista sucked. It's not a religion. Like the choice between Mac, Windows and Linux (tried them all) it's whatever best suits your needs. -

@redbrick01 @itsfoss Linux is already globally adopted. Concerning the desktop it's not mainstream, thats true.
But i wouldnt use an OS only for its adoption rate sake. I also ride a Triumph motorcycle even though most people here ride BMW or a japanese brand. In fact, Triumph has an "adoption rate" of ca. 2% here in Germany. -
