@dansup @pixelfed Oh, and please be doubly-sure that your website is fully screen-reader accessible! I remember your mobile app having lots of screen reader labels. Missing accessibility features are bugs!
I think the American Foundation for the Blind does consulting for web apps on what they need to do to improve accessibility.

@moshimotsu @dansup @pixelfed Pixelfed's image size limit is still 2MP, while Mastodon raised theirs to 8MP three years ago. So being an image oriented platform while having worse image quality than a regular social media platform is a bit weird...

that alignment also bothers me.
the left and right sidebars are kind of awkward, too. why is the left so spaced out (logo/nav/profile stuff), but then the right has everything jammed together against the top? it looks so weird and unbalanced.
...just realized it's because Instagram looks exactly like that. orz
not everything has to be a direct one-to-one copy! it's okay to make changes and improve and be a little unique! ugh...

Could this be affected by PixelFed’s much larger photo limit per post? I think on PF you can upload up to (and perhaps more than) 10 pictures, whereas on Masto it only goes up to 4. In megapixels, Masto does still win, but I figure this might be something that still requires the server to be more prudent with per-photo file sizes.

@moshimotsu @dansup @pixelfed I now think there's something more going on as I just uploaded an image via the official Pixelfed app for the first time, and I can see the full resolution image in Toot on my iPad, in Tuba on Linux, but not on the web or even in the official Pixelfed app no a different device!

@chrisp Tales tell the Duck family extended lately, the triplets went founding their families along with April, May and June. Waters are crowded.
