@louiswayne12 It takes a bit of time to get the hang of it, but many of us prefer it here - no algorithm forcing you one way or another; you follow who's interesting, boost posts that seem meaningful, and you run into all kinds of different people. There are also communities - like a pretty active soccer community (#mastodonfc) which is great fun when international tournaments are on. There are probably similar communities for any interest you can come up with. It takes a while, but you'll find a home here.
