Here's a radical idea. How about we stop funding wars and start funding public services and renewable energy. Anyone else agree?
@greenpeace This idea was rejected by the ruling class.

@greenpeace The problem is, you can't decide stop funding wars if someone else attacks you. Otherwise you will be their slaves and you won't be funding what you want either.

Especially as these wars are only started by a few toxic undemocratic narcissistic geezers and their yes men that should be in jail for corruption, war crimes and extremist ideas.
The people should get rid of them.
Now is a good time.

Recycled wood, recycled metal, gravity operated, produces steady supply of compostable material. Sounds like a winner.

@greenpeace who is "we" here? i don't have any control over where my tax money goes, and i'm certainly not funding any wars personally…
-
It's simpler to hit them in the wallet, by installing wind & solar systems that bypass them completely.
The "Fossil" part of the Hydrocarbons is already obsolete.
It's cheaper to make hydrocarbons than dig them out of the ground, but too many organisations are politically profiting from the perceived scarcity.
We're just seeing the death-throes of that part of the system.

@greenpeace funding injustice, such as the Russian invasian of Ukraine, or the Israeli invasion of the middle east is something that should never be done. in fact to fund such evil is to sign ones own death warrant.
one should absolutely fund the defense against militarised evil, such as our defense of Ukraine. to do so serves justice and protects the progressive systems of development that enable public services and renewable resources to exist.
there is an expectation you understand this.
