Pair of sea otters, mom and pup, relaxing on the water.
A mother sea otter uses her belly as a floating cradle to keep her baby warm and dry. Newborn pups don't have waterproof fur yet, so the mother acts as a safe life raft and constantly grooms the baby to keep it buoyant. 🦦
