        @evacide i mean with all the downturns in our lifetime and how rough the career doldrums can be it is really tough to know when enough is enough or when an opportunity is truly off piste.

        someone older than me with a more normal career once called me a "career survivalist" and i bet plenty of us are this way for similar reasons 🤔

                I think you need to retain a child-like sense of wonder to do that, the little bit of joy of something new.

                That's a good thing, otherwise it's staring into the abyss for altogether too many of those years.
