      @Ann1944 Carnegie also killed thousands (I grew up a short drive from the entire city he damn near wiped off the map), including hiring a small army to murder his own already abused employees, so maybe we shouldn't be celebrating him as some kind of role model...

      The philanthropy didn't start until he was nearing the end of his life and wanted to rehabilitate his image. For most of his life he was potentially even worse than Musk.
