the cosplay revolutionary
they want the pitchforks
1. revolutions happen when people are hungry. if they aren't hungry, you get a few rebels who are quickly defeated, then used as an excuse by fascists to remove more rights
2. an actual revolution is 1 million X suffering. then who wins might even be worse. but even with a good result, we preserve it BY VOTING
why not just vote left now instead?

the problem is primary turnout is *atrocious*
then we get 1 billion social media comments whining the dem candidates suck
just imagine if all that energy was instead spent just showing up in the fucking primaries

@christopherbrown Give Talarico another look. The idea is to defeat Cornyn . I believe Crockett couldn't do that in Texas. Also I love her work in the House and I think she should stay there for a while.
@davoyager I have no choice but to vote Talarico. Crockett did not win the nomination, voting GOP is not an option, sitting out is not an option.
As @benroyce has been saying lean hard left, then vote for what you get. I voted for Crockett in the primary, but I’m not all wastey panty over her not winning.

How do we not have a database with good UI/UX that independents & newcomers seeking party support can find races where their only competition is some 1,000 year old okiedoke who hasn’t brought their best for decades?

Note: I did not do that last year and Harris and our Democratic Senator who was up would've won my state even if a pretty sizeable bunch of us had.

It’s not an accident that they keep screwing us - it reinforces that feeling of helplessness!

And pay honor to our political system by winding it up with a ratchet and pawl that gets more dangerous the more you crank it over to the right.
