    When Blind people send emoji to Blind people, we are picking a text description from a list and receiving the same.
    Let's become ungovernable. Simply type the emoji in text.
    While you're at it, include emoji that do not exist.
    Melting popsicle.
    Broken umbrella.
    Crying horse.
    Pizza rat.

    We really can do anything

      @ChanceyFleet I like this. Teach us? What framing should we use? Asterisks around it? Square brackets? If we use colons here on Mastodon, some words will get turned into emojis anyway.

              @ChanceyFleet In love this! And I don't have to be blind to do it! Finally, I can have all the emojis I need! :hand on chest thank you:

              Thank you so much. It's embarrassing that it took so long, but I feel liberated!

              @dasgrueneblatt @ChanceyFleet

              For personal messages I just take a picture of my facial expression and send it now.

              But ayyy it's mastodon so you just gotta imagine how I look.

              : whaddya want me to do about it face with my arms held slightly up from my sides, elbows bent, palms up and fingers extended outward :

                    @ChanceyFleet I'm sighted, but I still read the emoji. Which means I really don't like the every other clap thing. :shotgun umbrella:

                      @ChanceyFleet Not sure if they still do that, but for a while in german irc chat cycles it was fasionable to just type these kind of things between asterisk. For example *shivers* or *looking at the sky* or even *wild pony sounds*. So *broken umbrella* would go well in that.

                      Always seemed cute and nice to me.
