Il Tempo: Università, Del Vecchio (Fondazione OneSight EssilorLuxottica Italia): "Un onore difendere il diritto alla vista'
Roma, 20 mar. (Adnkronos Saute) - "Una giornata molto emozionante, una giornata che sancisce l'inizio di un progetto che sta nel nostro cuore ed è nel Dna della nostra azienda, un progetto che si occupa di difendere il diritto alla vista, un diritto, appunto, ma anche un onore". Lo ha detto Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, presidente della Fondazione OneSight EssilorLuxottica Italia, a Roma in occasione dell'evento in cui è stato siglato un protocollo d'intesa tra la Fondazione e la Crui - Conferenza dei rettori delle università italiane, per il progetto 'Campus visivo' che prevede visite e occhiali da vista gratuiti agli studenti dell'ateneo di Roma Tor Vergata che si trovano in condizioni di fragilità economica.
"La nostra missione - sottolinea Del Vecchio - è difendere questo diritto investendo sui giovani, sull'università, sull'Italia, per perseguire il risultato che vogliamo raggiungere nel miglior modo e nella maniera più ampia possibile. Alle spalle c'è un lavoro enorme, oggi vediamo l'outcome, ma non la passione e il tempo che ognuno dei colleghi ha impiegato in questa missione".University, Del Vecchio (Fondazione OneSight EssilorLuxottica Italia): "It's an honor to defend the right to sight."
Rome, March 20 (Adnkronos Saute) - “A very emotional day, a day that marks the beginning of a project that is in our hearts and in the DNA of our company, a project that deals with defending the right to sight, a right, indeed, but also an honor.” Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, president of the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Italia Foundation, said this in Rome during the event in which a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Foundation and the Crui - Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities, for the ‘Campus Visivo’ project which provides visits and free eyeglasses to students at the Rome Tor Vergata University who are in a state of economic vulnerability.
“Our mission – Del Vecchio emphasizes – is to defend this right by investing in young people, in universities, in Italy, to achieve the result we want in the best way and as widely as possible.
