E io ho detto che volevo le portaerei prima della guerra, non le voglio dopo che la guerra sarà stata vinta". Il discorso poi si sposta perché nella stessa stanza, a colloquio, c'è la presidente del Giappone Sanae Takaichi. E presto cala l'imbarazzo. Alla domanda di una giornalista sul perché gli Usa non avessero avvisato gli alleati prima di colpire l'Iran, il Tycoon ha replicato: "Non ne abbiamo parlato con nessuno. Chi ne sa più del Giappone in fatto di sorprese? Perché non ci avete detto di Pearl Harbor?". Una battuta che, dopo una breve pausa e qualche nervoso sorriso, ha creato imbarazzo in sala e che non sembra aver divertito Takaichi.

Why didn’t you tell us about Pearl Harbor?” A jab that, after a brief pause and a few nervous smiles, created embarrassment in the room and that didn’t seem to amuse Takaichi.
