“A new Rembrandt painting has been discovered,” the announcement from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
The work dates back to 1633 and is titled “The Vision of Zachary in the Temple.” It had been unknown for 65 years where it was located. Delivered to the museum by the new owner, the painting was analyzed with new techniques and was found to be authentic.
