I'm dubious of the value that BIMI brings, and it seems insanely expensive to charge $170/mo/domain for a 32kb file hosted on a CDN. But the thing I didn't expect is how excited our marketing team would be about it. It's genius really: I can't think of any other things where two parts of the business that normally wouldn't interact can collaborate positively on a infosec project.

@nonlinear i have mixed feelings too
have done BIMI for the last few years and mainly i do it so our users (internal and external) have an extra visual indicator that something is lining up with DMARC/SPF - and also just to stand out a bit.
But yeah, it’s expensive and I wish Microsoft supported it as well so I knew most of our customers were seeing the benefit.
