Need to find a way to kick Hungary out first. Maybe Slovakia as well.I was thinking exactly that!
In case of Hungary, I'm holding my breath for the next elections, but I'm curious (and little bit scared) what happens when (not if) Orban loose.

@randahl I think you'll find a lot of Canadians feel the same way. A partner in a federation of equals is a lot better than being a vassal state to a despotic regime.

@randahl @emilymbender well, since Australia and Israel can participate in the Eurovision Song Contest, I wouldn’t know why Canada could not be in the EU! Apparently geography is not a criteria

@heleenkuiper @randahl @emilymbender Eastern Canada does border Greenland (Denmark) and St. Pierre (France).
Australia is sorta close to New Caledonia (France).
If the geographical constraints are considered broadly, maybe not a problem..

@randahl not directly; however, if an MP sponsors it, we can get a House of Commons e-Pétition going. I’m not sure that the major roadblock will be on our end though. There are several EU countries that have not ratified CETA yet.
