These are the pants of Palestinian child Jawad Abu Nasser, a child in Gaza who was tortured by Israeli soldiers, and they now stand as evidence of the incident.
The fabric is stained with blood and shows a visible hole consistent with a sharp object, possibly a metal rod, passing through his foot and the clothing. Burn marks are also visible, reportedly resembling cigarette burns.
