Academy Award winning American actress Susan Sarandon revealed that her agency terminated her contract because of her public calls for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Sarandon said she was dismissed from the agency that represented her specifically due to her participation in protests, her outspoken stance on the war in Gaza, and her demand for a ceasefire. She added, “I was dropped by my agency because I took part in marches and publicly expressed my position on Gaza and called for a ceasefire. It has even become impossible for me to appear on television.”
