Mostly just a delay in it getting approved, it was submitted ~1.5 months ago.

This is happening all over the world, the UK government don't have the power to stop it. Look what happened with previous petition against the Online Safety Act; petition got over 500,000 signatures, enough to trigger a debate in parliament...
