I was at an ethics seminar, for people from different professions - law, medicine, accountancy etc.

One of the topics was "Is it ever appropriate to form a sexual relationship with a client/patient?"

I was surprised that one person argued, quite strongly, that it was acceptable.

I'm not sure that I'd recommend that particular vet.

@neil When I was a student (UC Berkeley) I was working in the department of physio-anatomy on the biochemistry of aging.

A visiting professor stopped by for a few days. He seemed nice. But there was something about his name that was familiar. Then I figured it out ... he had written a book, an illustrated book.
