    It is possible that some discussion on transport doesn't always focus on what really matters to people.

    It's very easy to get caught up in debates about speed limits, motorways, cars vs buses etc

    I think that what we care about is having a good job and a nice home, making it easier to see family and friends.

    Corporations will tell you that to do this you need a big road, a fast car, live in the suburbs, and work in the city (London).

    What if there was another way?

      What if we created more regional jobs, had better bus services, nationalised rail, re-invigorated towns?

      If you could get a good job near where you live and could afford a home where you grew up ...

      How many of us would choose to walk to work if it was closer, to walk the kids to school and chat about the day?

      I think the Green Party has the solutions, but the billionaire press doesn't like them and will try and distract you by saying it's a war on motorists
