All UK elections for the 50 years before Tony Blair destroyed our collective faith in politics had turnouts over 70% - many over 75%, and some over 80%.
After Blair that mostly dropped to 60%-65% - even #Brexit was only 72% turnout.

If you want change, give people something inspiring to vote for, instead of just asking them to choose the lesser of two (or more) evils.
