    I am anti-fascist.

I think fascism is bad and hurts people. I am proud that my grandfather, a US Army officer and immigrant, fought the fascists in WWII and won.

I guess that makes me a terrorist now, according to the White House?

@aram Criminalization of opponents, rivals & detractors is tyrant 101. But i'm guessing you knew that already. My grandpappy put seven nazis in the dirt during his tour. He swore all his descendants to fighting that sort of thing if it ever arose here.
I bear no illusions. They gonna round us up eventually. Expedience will determine whether we die of neglect in a remote forced labor camp somewhere or in a death camp by intent. Our best odds are fighting it are before getting shipped off.

@aram I feel like you get tagged a terrorist or something absurd when the government cannot control every aspect of your life, my mom was opportuned to make over $920k profit from a crypto investment she did with Erika Kullberg, she got arrested for tax evasion and was tagged a criminal. How are you taxing someone from crypto profits? Mind you she could have lost her money if the investment had gone bad, and the government wouldn't reimburse her.

@torylewis12 @aram well I personally feel like if you're gonna tax someone for investment profit, then you should be able to chip in when they lose money from same investment, that way your tax Is justified

I know what it makes that regime too...

@torylewis12 @aram I understand paying taxes on a job that was provided by the government, but crypto should be tax free, considering the risk factor

@aram Oh fun, they're not even using the plausible deniability of referring to "antifa" as if it's a centralised organisation with a concrete set of ideals and goals shared by every single person who has ever so much as posted black and red flags. They've confirmed the thing we were all daring them to confirm when they pretended they didn't know it was short for antifaschistische aktion? Cool, so why are we taking them at their word when they cry about being called nazis?

@disorderlyf @aram Tenner bets this is part of the set-up effort to ensure there are no mid-term elections.

                      (cf. gerrymandering, etc.)

@clickhere @aram It's certainly possible they could go that route. They've also given themselves plenty of other "reasons" to do that.

@aram Greetings from the grand-daughter of an Irish nurse - Kitty Duffy (later Cooney) - who, with her sister (also a nurse), started her training in London *during the Blitz*.

The sister, Bridie, went on to be commissioned into a specifically created army corps, so that she and her colleagues could join the vanguard in France in preparation for the D-Day landings.

She went on to serve in south and south-east Asia, before settling in the north of England.

@aram The world's largest terrorist group. My family has been part of it for 100 years. That comes with a certain responsibility.
