Hey #Covid data nerds, I'm about to start a Symbicort inhaler for my ass-mar. It sounds like inhaled corticosteroids are basically a wash as a treatment for COVID per this 2025 roundup: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/resp.70134, but really what I'm interested in is knowing if this puts me at an increased risk of contracting COVID. I found this 2023 meta-analysis that says no, https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10028214/
Has anyone seen recent info on that? Does that match your understanding?
