My heart is heavy beyond words thinking of the 9000 Palestinian political prisoners in Israel now facing imminent death sentence. Amongst all the evil that has become normalised, this is a new, awful low. Everyone knows this, yet we allow it to happen.
Thinking in particular of doctor Hossam Abu Safiya. So familiar since watching “Gaza: Doctors Under Attack” - he is a hero and has been made to suffer for it so much already

3/3 And hundreds of these political prisoners facing death sentence are children.
“On Monday 30 March 2026, the Israeli Knesset passed a law mandating the death penalty, by hanging, for Palestinians convicted of nationalistic killings. Executions are to be carried out within 90 days of sentencing. There is no right of appeal. There is no provision for clemency. And there is no age exemption for children.”
